Skim Pengeluaran Bagi Pembelian Harta Tak Alih

Members are allowed to make a housing withdrawal to purchase a residential house or land to build a residential house.

The total withdrawal allowed shall not exceed 40% of the member’s contribution account (Account 2) or 10% of the property price or a maximum of RM10,000.00, whichever is lower.

The withdrawal is only permitted for the purchase of the first residential house or a plot of land to build a residential house.

The withdrawal facility is allowed only once during service tenure, subject to the stipulated terms and conditions.

Skim Pengeluaran Mengerjakan Ibadah Haji

Members who receive Letter of Confirmation to perform Hajj from Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) are allowed to make Hajj withdrawal with a maximum amount of RM10,000.00. The withdrawal facility is allowed only once during service tenure, subject to the stipulated terms and conditions.

Skim Pengeluaran Pendidikan

Members who are currently pursuing higher education at local public universities are allowed to make educational withdrawal for reimbursement of the first year’s enrolment fee, amounting to a maximum of RM3,200.00. The withdrawal facility is allowed only once during service, subject to the stipulated terms and conditions.

Skim Tambahan Caruman Ahli (TCA)

Contributors are given the option to increase their monthly contributions (member’s account) beyond the rate set under the Armed Forces Fund Act (Act 101), which is 10% of their monthly salary.

The minimum rate for TCA is RM25.00, and any additional contributions must be made in multiples of RM5.00, with no maximum limit.

BENEFITS FOR THE RETIRING AND RETIRED MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES

Withdrawal Of Contribution

Members may withdraw their contributions money 30 days after they are discharged or retire from service, or attain the age of 50 years/the compulsory retirement age or are certified as physically or mentally unfit for service. If the member is deceased, payment will be made to the next of kin.

Compulsory members who are non-pensionable will receive their portion of contribution and government contribution together with cumulative yearly dividends and bonuses.

A compulsory member who is pensionable will receive their portion of contribution together with the cumulative yearly dividends and bonuses only. The government contribution is remitted to the Consolidated Fund (“KWDS”) for monthly pension payment.

Voluntary members may withdraw their savings twice a year and have the flexibility to rejoin as contributors after completing a full withdrawal.

Death And Disablement Benefits Scheme

All members are automatically covered under the LTAT Death and Disablement Benefits Scheme. This scheme is designed to provide the members with a fair sum of money if he has been certified as physically or mentally incapacitated from engaging in the service or to the next of kin upon the member’s death while in service.
